Jacksonville has been my home for 50+ years.  My first exposure to the real estate industry was many years in the family land surveying and engineering business.  The move over to the REAL side of real estate seemed a natural progression.  Now I fully understand why those real estate agents always needed that survey yesterday!

It is always a privilege and pleasure to find the right buyer for a home that needs to be sold, and the right home for the family that needs a new home.  Real estate is much more about people than it is property, and friendships are developed that last much longer than the search for the right buyer and seller.  When away from real estate, I am usually involved in something that is going on at my church.

My children and grandchildren bring immense joy and excitement to my life.  If you are a football fan you probably saw my granddaughter as a part of the ROAR cheerleaders for the Jaguars before she left for college.  Now, if you watch closely, you may see her as she cheers just as faithfully along the sidelines as a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons.

If I have the opportunity to assist you in your desire to sell your home or your search for just the right home for you and your family, I pledge my very best efforts in your behalf.

Arlington FL Real Estate

The area of Jacksonville known as Arlington is roughly bounded by the St Johns river to the west and north, the Intracoastal waterway to the east, and Beach Blvd to the South. Arlington is home to the first European settlement in North America, Fort Caroline, now a State Park, founded by French Huguenots in 1562.

In 1955, a controversial bridge, known to locals as the "Bridge to Nowhere", was built across the St. Johns River heading east of Downtown Jacksonville. Yet within ten years of the completion of the Matthews Bridge, Arlington became the most populous portion of Southside, and by consolidation, over 50% of Jacksonville residents who called the Southside "home" were denizens of Arlington.
